Affirmations
help us to have positive thoughts which allow us to focus with awareness on the
aspects of ourselves which need to be healed, whether it's an emotion from the
past which is still causing us pain, such as anger or grief; or we may need to
heal a physical illness, or an aspect of our lives which is unfulfilled.
Thinking positively can help us to focus our
attention on the cause of the pain, and allow the healing process to
begin. When we think in a positive way,
we can direct our energy towards healing our pain by using our intention to
heal, and our awareness of the cause of the pain.
This
energy, combined with understanding, can allow us to see whether we need to
rest or change our lifestyles, or to forgive, in order to bring about full
healing. Healing is a complex multi
layered process, however by believing that we can heal and opening ourselves to
healing, we can pave the way for healing to occur within us.
Allowing
the positive energies of love and joy to fill our lives, opens up our
receptiveness to becoming healed. We
give ourselves every chance to heal mentally, physically, spiritually, and
emotionally. We can also bring our
thoughts and our words together, so that we act with alignment in what we think
and say and do.
This in turn propels our
conscious and subconscious minds into alignment, which enables all the cells in
our bodies to focus on one thing, healing.
We can also use our inner voice to direct healing to the cells within
our bodies which need to heal. It is
also very important to believe that you will heal fully.
